Education - Quarterly meetings/seminars for investigators
- Training sessions for systems (access to imaging, scheduling, protocol development)
- Other training as needed for regulatory requirements and grant writing
We participate in the national CTSA Imaging Work Group (CTSA IWG). Its Educational Subgroup is led by Katarzyna J. Macura, MD, PhD, CTSA Education Subgroup Chair. CTSA - IWG Educational Subgroup has the following objectives:
- Educate the broad medical community about imaging’s role and capabilities in translational research and
- Specifically educate the Radiology community and trainees about emerging imaging technologies, successful uses of imaging in translational research at other CTSA institutions and methods of engaging themselves in translational research.
The CTSA IWG is a consortium of leaders in clinical research imaging. The CTSA IWG is dedicated to sharing ideas, visions, and expertise to enhance the utility of imaging in translational research. The highly collaborative nature and intent of this forum creates tremendous opportunities for a diverse set of subject matter experts to work together to address complex and important issues in clinical research imaging. Its 250 participants represent 95 organizations, including almost 40 CTSA sites. Read more.

Imaging in Translational Research Symposium
An opportunity to learn more about translational research involving imaging (cellular and molecular, pre-clinical and clinical) and to network with researchers in imaging sciences. A PDF of the slide show presented at the symposium can be download here. |
